As part of their English learning, the children in Year 4 took part in an interactive workshop with the Young Shakespeare Company based on A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The theme of this year's British Science Week was Adaptation. We learnt about how different animals have adapted to allow them to survive in their environments. We then made our own imaginary adapted creatures!
What a fun morning we all had learning a new dance routine with Mrs Phipps! We were raising money for our PFA with our sponsorship money by wearing a splash of colour and having a good dance! Such fun!
What amazing performances we saw again this year in Charford's Got Talent! Everything from comedians, to dancers and singers! Everyone was simply wonderful. Well done Charford - who might we see on the stage or screen in the future?
On Tuesday, Year 2 welcomed the Trunk Theatre to Charford. The Trunk Theatre performers brought the fiery tale to life all out of a trunk. We are so proud of how the children listened and participated in this live theatre event and we wanted to share some images with you. They can be accessed on our school website. Thank you for your support. It’s due to your funding that this was possible.
2023 saw the return of Charford's Got Talent! and what an amazing amount of talent we have at Charford First School! This year saw magicians, singers, dancers, a mime act, joke telling, acro and kick boxing. Even the staff had their own act which entertained everyone! A huge congratulations to every single child who auditioned and performed. What stars you all are!
