Little Treasures
Our aim is to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for the children before and at the end of the school day.
This provision is an extension of Charford First School and therefore operates in-line with the school ethos, values and high expectations of pupils’ behaviour.
We provide wraparound care for all children from the age of 3 in Nursery up to Year 4.
A variety of play opportunities and provisions are available each day and are planned in accordance with the children’s needs, age, preferences and abilities.
Children who attend before school will be provided with a healthy breakfast. The children after school can enjoy a healthy snack. Little Treasures does not claim to provide an evening meal, but we aim to provide a substantial, nutritious snack to keep the children going until they get home, following the Government School Food and Nutrient Standards (see weekly menu).
Sessions
- Open term time only
- Breakfast from 7.40am – 8.45am.
- After school sessions are split between two sessions 3.15pm – 4.30pm and 4.30pm – 5.45pm.
Charges
Little Treasures sessions are charged at £6.50 per session.
Fees are to cover sessions that are booked in advance using our half-termly booking and payment system.
HMRC Tax Free Child Care can be used to make your payment and Early Years Government funded hours can be applied for.
Staffing
Little Treasures is staffed by fully qualified members of Charford First School in-line with the regulations drawn by OFSTED and Children’s Services. Staff work in a variety of roles across each of the school’s key stages. Staffing ratio is calculated in accordance with the number of places allocated.
